To ensure the best possible results and a safe, comfortable experience, please review the following guidelines carefully.
Before Your Appointment
To minimise sensitivity and promote optimal healing:
- Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, or any blood-thinning medications for 7 days prior and 2 days post-treatment.
(Do not stop prescribed medication without medical advice. Always consult your doctor.) - Avoid coffee and caffeine the day of your treatment.
- Stay out of direct sunlight, tanning beds, or harsh weather conditions for at least 48 hours prior.
- No facials, peels, or skin treatments near the area being tattooed for at least 2 weeks before.
- Waxing is not permitted on the day of your appointment — however, light tweezing may be done to shape the area.
Aftercare Instructions
- Keep the area dry and clean for 7–10 days.
- Avoid:
- Sun exposure
- Hot water, saunas, steam rooms
- Swimming pools, saltwater, and chlorinated water
- Do not scratch, pick, or peel the tattooed area during healing.
- Mild itching and flaking are normal — allow the skin to shed naturally.
- Apply the recommended healing balm as directed.
Legal & Safety Regulations (Queensland)
- You must be 18 years of age or older to receive cosmetic tattooing.
It is illegal in Queensland to perform tattooing (including cosmetic tattooing) on minors. - If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, treatment cannot be performed.
- Topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) must be procured by the client as per Queensland Health regulations.
Beth cannot supply or apply numbing cream unless prescribed by your healthcare provider.

❓ What Happens to My Natural Brow Hair?
Your natural brow hair is preserved. Waxing is not performed during your session, though stray hairs may be gently tweezed to perfect the shape.

Pigment colours are selected based on your skin tone, natural hair colour, and personal style. The goal is always a natural, harmonised enhancement.
❓ What Pigments Are Used?
We use high-quality, safe pigments containing iron oxide and titanium dioxide, specifically formulated for cosmetic tattooing.
❓ How Many Sessions Are Required?
Two sessions are required for best results:
- Your initial treatment
- A perfecting session 4–6 weeks later
❓ What Should I Expect After Treatment?
- The colour will appear darker initially, softening as the skin exfoliates over 7–10 days.
- Light flaking and mild itchiness are normal signs of healing.
- A softer, more natural tone emerges as the area heals.

A colour refresh is recommended every 12–18 months for best results.

❓ Can I Have a Patch Test?
Yes, patch tests are available upon request. Allergic reactions are extremely rare but may still occur even after patch testing.

Appointments & Policies💳 Do I Need to Pay a Deposit?
Yes, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required for all new bookings. This secures your time and applies toward your treatment total.
🕒 What If I Need to Cancel or Reschedule?
- We require 72 business hours' notice to reschedule. Your deposit will transfer to the new date.
- Cancellations or changes made with less than 72 hours' notice will result in the forfeit of your deposit.
👶 Can I Bring Friends or Children?
Due to strict health and safety guidelines:
- Only the client and artist are permitted in the treatment room
- Friends may wait in the reception area
- Children are not permitted at appointments under any circumstances
